(24.11.11) The Advisory group met in October and have the last month prepared an inspiring program for next years conference. Many speakers have confirmed their attendance, and the NRC secretariate is following them up these days.

(07.04.11) The Faculty, Board and NRC secretariat are pleased to welcome you all to the NRC 2011! This year the conference is fully booked with more than 150 participants; and this is a record attendance.
(11.03.11) There are som minor changes in the program since it was set up in Autumn 2010:
Monday 11th of April:
Marcus Zackrisson are unfortuntaley not able to come, so Maiken Engelstad, Director General at Norwegian Ministry of Health and Care Services, will replace him and hold the presentation:

Wednesday 13th of April:
Jochen Werner and his presentation about "How to perform research in a private University Hospital" at 8.30 am will be replaced by a new presentation by NRC Board member Olav Flaten:
"Clinical Research and Innovation. Nordic Innovations Center project."

(04.03.11) These days the 3rd announcement will be sent out to the NRC network. A great number of participants have already signed up for the 6th annual NRC-conference, but there are still available seats left. Please register here as soon as possible, so that the NRC secretary and the hotel can make sure to welcome you in the best possible way.
(24.11.10) These days our Advisory group is spreading the news about the NRC to their fellow colleauges in their countries. The NRC network consists of former participants and speakers at previous conferences, but we are welcoming new additions every year. Please let us know if you have any suggestions to colleauges that should be invited.
The program is finalised, and 13 main speakers have confirmed their contribution, as well as several workshops. The brochure will be printed within the next week. To the right you will find the photo that has been choosen for the front page of the brochure, it should symbolise the title of NRC 2011; "Future"! We would like to thank Marianne Mørkedal for the coverphoto.
We have already received the first registrations and are so looking forward to see you all again!
Clinical research is a fundamental part of the activity at university hospitals in the Nordic countries. Yet recent figures show a decline in clinical research in our area. We invite you to take part in the 2011 Nordic University Hospital Research Conference (NRC) both to learn what is happening and to discuss what can be done.
Highlights:
The main topics will be enhanced by a series of workshops Wednesday April 13th:(08.10.10) We will soon present the program for NRC 2011; a few Speakers have already confirmed their attendance.
We would now like to present a great offer to the NRC network:
If you register before February the 1st 2011 you will pay a reduced conference fee
- NOK 4.300,- for the whole conference
- NOK 4.100,- without workshop/lunch Wednesday
These are the ordinary prices:
Conference fee Mon. 11th to Wed. 13th of April 2011: NOK 4.800,-
(including lunches, dinners, workshop Wednesday)
+ hotel 1.350/pr. night

(28.09.10) The Advisory group are these days approaching possible Speakers for NRC 2011 at Solstrand Hotel. The structure of the conference is altered; we start off with the main sessions on Monday and have moved the workshops til Wednesday. Overall, we hope this will improve NRC both for the participants and the speakers.
(09.09.10) The Board of Directors and Advisory group met in Oslo to plan next years NRC at Solstrand Hotel, Norway, 11th to 13th April 2011.
A newsletter will be sent out to the members this Autumn with the preliminary program and other news.
The NRC network was founded as a membership organisation 8.09.2010 by the Board of Directors.
