For those of you who have registered for the conference buss on Monday: The buss will be located outside the arrival hall, appr. 50 meters to the left. A sign will be in the window with the NRC logo. The buss will leave at 11 am.

How to get there on your own: see here. A taxi is by far the easiest way. It will take about 35 min, and cost about NOK 700 one way.

Solstrand is a beautiful hotel and place to stay, and these are the facilities you can use (bring your swim gear).

Not registered yet? 3rd annuncement upcoming

It is getting close to the 2012 NRC-conference, and we are looking forward to seeing many of you at Solstrand May Monday 7th - Wednesday 9th. The speakers have updated our website with what they are going to talk about in their presentations, so check that out.

Technical problems with registration

(12.04.12) There has been some problems with the registration to NRC 2012. We have now removed the verification code, and hope that will solve the problem. EVERYONE should have received a confirmation e-mail immediately after the registration.

Please, get in touch if you had trouble with the registration, or did not get a confirmation e-mail in return immediately.

What will the speakers present?

hage.jpg(03.04.12) Spring has definetely arrived to the west coast of Norway today, and that means that we will soon meet at Solstrand Hotel for the 7th NRC involving inspiring presentations and fruitful discussions with other colleauges and speakers.

There are still some places left, so please register here as soon as possible. It is a flexible structure and you can choose to attend only parts of the conference, if that suits you best. You will find the price listings below the registration form.

Tutorials and workshops

Those who are registered in the NRC network will by now have received the brochure, we hope you like it!

Besides the program for all participants Monday to Wednesday, you get to choose between tutorials on Tuesday May 8 after lunch, and workshops on Wednesday May 9.

The tutorials are unformal gatherings with some selected speakers. The speakers sit down in small groups with the participants and it is a possibility to ask further questions and discuss the topics in more depth. It was arranged for the first time last year, and it was a sucess.

These are the speakers:
- David Secher (innovation)
- Poul Jaszczak (research cooperation) 
- Pierre Lafolie (eCRIN)

The four workshops you can choose between: 
A: Ways of Improving Clinical Research
B: How to apply the Medicines agency for Investigator-Initiated clinical studies
C: Monitoring- the Nordic network
D: Innovation in hospitals


Please register here, the structure is flexible and you can choose to attend parts or the whole conference.

Reduced fee until February 7th 2012

(20.01.12) We will prolong the date to register and get the "early bird" reduction on the conference fee from February 1st to February 7th 2012! The brochure will be sent to print next week, and thereafter distributed to selected institutions.

(16.12.11) The first announcement will be sent out in the coming days before the christmas holiday.

The program is being confirmed as we go along, and you will find the latest updated version here. We are also in a process of contacting all the speakers and give them the practical details. We also ask them for a short CV and a picture, so you can read a small presentation of each of them here.

If you register within February 1st 2012 you make us an favour in the planning, and therefore you will get a discounted conference fee of NOK 5.200,- (normal price NOK 5.500).
