Perry, Claire

Managing director of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, the UK’s first academic health science centre (AHSC) in partnership with Imperial College London, England.

Claire Perry has worked in a number of high-level NHS leadership roles in London. Prior to taking up the post of managing director at the Trust, Claire was chief executive of University Hospital Lewisham for six years. She led the NHS London initial 'Patients Choice' programme, providing acute patients with a choice of hospital for the first time by developing new capacity. For seven years from 1993, Claire was chief executive of Bromley Health, developing the role of GPs in commissioning services as well as primary care development. In 1998 she was awarded the OBE for the development of primary care commissioning.
